PSYCHOFREUD

PsychoFreud is the founder of Vikings Champion Sound. He has been a producer and DJ since the late 80's, and remains a pioneer and veteran within the Norwegian Reggae scene.

PsychoFreud works with Reggae/Dancehall, Ragga Jungle, Drum & Bass and Hiphop, and has experienced great success within the hybrid scene in all of Europe and the American East Coast.

A large part of his life is devoted to travelling the world and performing, and it has become a standard that several thousands show up to his events in Europe. He remains a headliner for several festivals in Europe, and when not the main act, he is often warming the stages for some of the Reggae industries biggest.

PsychoFreud releases his music on the legendary label Knowledge & Wisdom in London. Together with Knowledge & Wisdom, PsychoFreud will tour with vocalists like Top Cat, Tenor Fly, Demolition Man, Daddy Freddy and Peter Bouncer.

Nu Urban Music awarded PsychoFreud the title "the hardest working dj in the scene", due to the large demand of live shows, and he can easily be rated one of the Norway's most internationally used DJ's.

Regadless of international demands PsychoFreud remins humble, but experienced. With several singles released every year, as well as mixtapes and productions, PsychoFreud is a label of quality.

 

DJ VICIOUS-E

Originating from Cleveland, Ohio, USA, however he has spent over half his life in Europe. More specifically, Oslo, Norway. Today he works both out of Europe and the US. Through music Vicious-E has had the opportunity to travel the world - USA, Canada, Europe, East, North & West Africa, Asia, Australia & the Caribbean.

He has warmed the stage for and played along side a long list of reggae greats. He has done guest apperances on several radio shows, and can quite often be heard on a variety of shows in the US and on internet.

Musically he works mostly with Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, HipHop and the many forms of African music. He is famous for his fusion of styles, like Crunk and Dancehall (Crunkhall), House and Dancehall (Househall) and African and Caribbean club music.

Through his travels around the world, and his connections and work with renowned artists, he has collected a huge and unique collection of what he considers to be the world's best music. Something he aims to share with the rest of the world.

Vicious-E also plays the part of one of Scandinavia's largest booking agents and promoters within Reggae/Dancehall and African music.

Vicious-E is known for his many mixtapes, and even with new releases 2-3 times a year, people can never get enough. In 2012, he aims to release several more, as well as deliver many high quality shows in Scandinavia, and continuing his world tours.

No matter where he goes his unique blend of Reggae, Dancehall, Hiphop, Soca & African music creates a result that brings everyone to the dance floor, again and again!

 

DEMOLITION MAN

In one word, the best description of the artist known as Demolition Man or Demo, also known as Wayne Young, is; versatile. He was born in Hackney, East London, England and is a singer, songwriter, emcee, engineer, lyricist and producer . When asked why he refers to himself as ‘Demolition Man’? He explains that, “Demolition Man is here to demolish all evil things.” Demo's drive, love and energy can be felt through his words, power and sound in his musical creations.

Demolition Man’s music has been around for more than two decades and his passion for the creation of music is everlasting. Whether it is at a peace concert, rave, stage show, charity event or at the studio his creativity, focus and determination can be seen, felt and heard.

He has tour with and played alongside artists like Bounty Killer, Lady Patra, Roundhead, Busy Signal, Sweetie Irie, Lorna Asha, Tanya Stephens, Ninjakid, Horace Martin, Professor Nuts, Richie Davis, Jah Melody and many more, as well as performing at show like Rootsbana, Ethiopian Christmas Celebration, Borough Day in Trinidad, and Rototom Sunsplash just to name a few. 

He has toured all across Western, Southern, Northern and Eastern Europe, North America, UK, Japan, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Russia and more.

In 2006 he recorded what would end up being 38 tracks in the legendary King Jammy’s Studio in Jamaica. He has recently also recorded a large amount of tracks with the legendary Studio One.

Demolition Man's destiny is to make music. Of all love affairs, this is surely one that will last forever. Nothing can out this lyrical fire!

 

DR OLUGANDER

This young, popular, talented and versatile musician started singing at a tender age through the inspiration of his grandfather who was a great cultural musician in his hay days.

A fond lover of the music of popular Stars like the South African Lucky Dube (RIP) & Jamaican stars like Cocoa Tea, Bob Marley, Luciano and Capleton, he felt he can use music to bring great changes in the life of young people with his own original style.

The title Doctor was given to him by the fans in his home coutry who consider him to be a doctor spreading musical healing.

In 2007 he was Awarded best reggae musician by the Njawara YSA. in 2008 he won the award for best reggae song in The Gambia. In 2009 he was awarded by the AGERA comittee Atlanta, Georgia US.

He continiues to remain one of the main Reggae singers in The Gambia & Senegal, and frequently tours Europe, delivering high quality shows and spreading good vibes

 

KNOWLEDGE & WISDOM

Knowledge & Wisdom is Vikings brother sound, and the record label that Vikings Champion Sound releases on. It was founded in 1994 by Terry T, who has produced several of UK's largest Reggae Jungle hits.

Knowledge & Wisdom include singers Daddy Freddy, Tenor Fly, Top Cat, Peter Bouncer and more.
